Project Overview
We successfully installed a 499.5kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at VOCO Hotel, featuring 1,110 high-efficiency solar modules covering a total surface area of 2,217.9m². The system is deployed as both a roof-mounted PV array and a car port PV system, enhancing the hotel’s sustainability initiatives. This project reduces the site’s carbon footprint, provides clean, renewable energy, and lowers operational energy costs.

Scope of Works
Our team was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of the full PV system, including:
- Mounting and cabling of 1,110 high-efficiency solar panels across roofs and car ports
- Installation of inverters and DC isolators
- Testing, commissioning, and verification to ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards

Challenges & Solutions
The project required precise coordination between roof and car port installations while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. The installation team followed strict health and safety protocols, ensuring all work was completed efficiently and to a high standard.
As the site is a busy hybrid hotel and football stadium, careful project planning and collaboration with hotel management enabled seamless integration of the PV system into existing infrastructure.
Outcome
The installation delivers a reliable renewable energy source that supports VOCO Hotel’s sustainability goals. The system provides significant energy savings, reduces the carbon footprint, and demonstrates the hotel’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
